Battle of the Bands Happening Tonight at Frisco Athletic Center Outdoor
Pool Area

(May 29, 2009) The City of Frisco Parks & Recreation Department is
partnering with the Mayor's Youth Council to host their first ever Battle
of the Bands competition. Frisco ISD High School students and their
friends are invited to come out for an evening of rockin' music, swimming,
food and lots of fun! The competition will be held tonight, May 29 from
6 - 10 p.m. at the Frisco Athletic Center Outdoor Aquatic Center. Doors
will open at 6 p.m. The winner of the Battle of the Bands competition
will be voted on by the crowd and will win the grand prize and title of
Battle of the Bands Champion.

The bands chosen to battle this year include:
Band of Tesh
Judge Karen
The September Days
Third Place Epiphany
White Tag

Admission is $10 and tickets may still be purchased at the door. All ages
are welcome to attend, but children under the age of 10 must be
accompanied by an adult.
