BOTH DIRECTIONS OF THE DALLAS NORTH TOLLWAY NEAR THE SAM RAYBURN TOLLWAY
CLOSED OVERNIGHT TONIGHT, JULY 18
(July 18, 2011) The SRT/DNT interchange closures scheduled for tonight,
Monday, July 18, include both directions of the Dallas North Tollway near
the Sam Rayburn Tollway. The closures begin at 10:00 p.m. tonight and
will end by 5:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. NTTA has provided a map of the
detour routes:

The details of each closure are described below:
The southbound Dallas North Tollway main lanes will be closed between
Gaylord Parkway and Headquarters Drive in Plano. Southbound traffic will
be diverted onto the southbound Dallas Parkway frontage road at Warren
Parkway and will be able to re-enter the DNT at Legacy Drive in Plano.
The northbound Dallas North Tollway main lanes will be closed between
Headquarters Drive in Plano and Gaylord Parkway. Northbound traffic will
be diverted onto the northbound Dallas Parkway frontage road and will be
able to re-enter the DNT at Gaylord Parkway.
Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction zone and to choose
an alternate route in advance.
These road closures are part of NTTA’s interchange construction project
which is prompting a series of overnight closures that will occur each
weeknight in July. Depending on the contractor’s schedule, a different
combination of main lanes and/or frontage roads will be closed each night.

night’s closure as the information becomes available.
