Cashless Toll Collection Town Hall Meeting Scheduled
Plano, TX – The North Texas Tollway Authority is hosting a cashless toll
collection town hall meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, in the NTTA
Boardroom, located at 5900 W. Plano Parkway in Plano.
“The town hall meeting will provide the opportunity for motorists to have
their questions answered and to learn more about the NTTA’s move to
cashless toll collection,” said Clayton Howe, NTTA assistant executive
director of operations.
The event will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. and attendees may come and go
at their convenience. Staff will be available throughout the meeting to
answer questions about construction along the Dallas North Tollway, how
ZipCash and TollTag technology works and questions about other NTTA
projects.
All of the NTTA’s remaining roadways are scheduled to convert to cashless
toll collection on Dec. 10, including the Dallas North Tollway, Mountain
Creek Lake Toll Bridge and Addison Airport Toll Tunnel. Lane and ramp
closures are expected to continue as preparation for the conversion
