CITY OF FRISCO HOURS OF OPERATION/CANCELLATIONS FOR
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 4
(*as of 6:30 p.m. Thursday)
(February 3, 2011) The Frisco Athletic Center (FAC) is resuming its
regularly scheduled hours which include closing at 10 p.m. tonight and
opening tomorrow, Friday, February 4 at 5 a.m. in the morning.
The Frisco Public Library will also resume its regularly scheduled hours
of 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. beginning tomorrow, Friday, February 4.
City Hall continues to operate at its regularly scheduled hours of 8
a.m. – 5 p.m. Collin County offices on the second floor of City Hall will
resume the hours of 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., as well.
Contractors intend to resume trash and recycling services, beginning with
Friday’s regularly scheduled ‘pick up’; however, this could change
depending on tomorrow’s road conditions. Residents who missed service
earlier this week are advised to bag overflow trash for pickup next week
on their regularly scheduled service day.
Jury trials for tomorrow, Friday, February 4 have been cancelled. Jurors
will be placed back into the jury pool and selected at a later date.
Jurors can call 972-292-5554 for juror service updates.
The Senior Center @ Frisco Square will remain closed; however, members of
the Senior Center are welcome to utilize facilities at the FAC. Frisco
Fire Safety Town and the Frisco Heritage Museum will also be closed.
The City of Frisco’s Trick-A-Trout Kid Fish, scheduled for this weekend,
has been postponed until next Saturday, February 12. Icy road conditions
and hazardous driving conditions for fisheries delivery trucks forced
Parks and Recreation to postpone the event.
The Frisco Independent School District (FISD) and the Lewisville
Independent School District are also closed tomorrow, Friday, February 4.
We appreciate your understanding and patience during these extreme weather
conditions.
