CLOSURES SCHEDULED THIS WEEKEND ON SOUTHBOUND DALLAS NORTH TOLLWAY
BEGINNING TONIGHT, MAY 7

(May 7, 2010) As part of NTTA’s interchange construction project, NTTA
will close two southbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway and a
southbound entrance ramp in Frisco for the duration of the weekend
starting Friday night, May 7 at 9:00 p.m. Most of the lanes will reopen
by 5:00 a.m. on Monday, May 10. The specific road closures are summarized
below:

Two southbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway will be closed between
Gaylord Parkway in Frisco and Legacy Drive in Plano over the weekend.
This will reduce the tollway to one southbound lane and motorists should
expect delays on Saturday and Sunday.

The southbound entrance ramp to the Dallas North Tollway south of Gaylord
Parkway will also be closed over the weekend. Motorists will need to
enter the southbound tollway using an entrance ramp further north (such as
the ramp south of Lebanon Road) or stay on the Dallas Parkway and enter
the tollway south of SH 121.

At 5:00 a.m. on Monday, May 10, NTTA will reopen the entrance ramp and one
of the lanes on the southbound Dallas North Tollway, but one of the lanes
will remain closed continuously through June 2011. This will reduce the
tollway to two southbound lanes between Gaylord Parkway and Legacy Drive
for approximately one year.

Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction zone.
