“COFFEE WITH THE MAYOR” TO TOUCHDOWN AT PIZZA HUT PARK; 'GET IN THE NCAA
GAME’ ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 8 AT STADIUM CLUB
(November 2, 2010) Score the latest news and information about the City of
Frisco at the next “Coffee with the Mayor”, which is moving to the Stadium
Club inside Pizza Hut Park, 9200 World Cup Way, on Monday, November 8
from 8 – 9 a.m.
Join Mayor Maher Maso for coffee, conversation and huddle about the NCAA
Division I Football Championship Game, which will be played on January 7,
2011 at Pizza Hut Park.
Bring your questions and concerns and learn more about how our community
works. While you’re there, purchase your football championship tickets,
which are quickly becoming one of the hottest tickets in town! Purchase
tickets onsite and receive a free NCAA Division I Football Championship
Game T-shirt.
The City of Frisco, Pizza Hut Park and Southland Conference are also
recruiting volunteers to help host the football championship.
“If you’ve never joined us for ‘coffee’, I encourage you to check out this
informal meeting,” said Mayor Maher Maso. “It’s a chance for citizens to
ask questions or raise concerns. But this month is an opportunity for us
to showcase our world class venue, Pizza Hut Park, and generate excitement
about the upcoming NCAA Division I Football Championship which will be
played here in January. Help us ‘Pack the Park’ and show the country what
football in Texas is really all about!”
Mayor Maso launched “Coffee with the Mayor” in 2008 as one of his
communication initiatives. Generally, meetings are held the second Monday
of each month from 8 – 9 a.m. Occasionally, meetings are held off site.
