COWBOYS AIM TO BLOW OFF STEAM IN FRISCO
Civilized folks should gather around and enjoy the show
FRISCO, TEXAS (April 6, 2010) — Yee haw, Frisco! The rough and tough
antics of the cowboy lifestyle are yours to experience at Frisco Heritage
Museum’s Shawnee Cowboy Day, April 24. Immerse yourself in this iconic Old
West culture and experience clashes between cattlemen and towns folk,
which have provided the Western tapestry with colorful stories.
The Heritage Museum invites everyone to come on out and make their own
family stories and memories from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Frisco
Heritage Center. Take a stagecoach ride just like they did way back when,
but watch out for stagecoach bandits. Witness authentic gun fights
performed by the Trinity River Desperadoes and experience what it was like
to learn in a one-room school house.
Cowboy Randy, professional cowboy storyteller, musician and singer, is
sure to delight kids and adults alike with his own brand of roving
performances throughout the day. While you’re having all this interactive
cowboy fun, don’t forget to take a gander at the Museum’s permanent
exhibits offering snapshots into Frisco’s history.
Event admission is $5 per person and available through the Museum Store
the day of the event. Children ages 6 and younger are free. See the museum
website for more information: http://www.friscomuseum.com
