FRISCO POLICE OFFER REWARD FOR MARIO ALBERTO MARTINEZ

(December 17, 2007)The Frisco Police Department is offering a reward of
$3,000.00, (three thousand dollars), for information leading to the arrest
and conviction of Mario Alberto Martinez, W/M, date 07-11-83, 24 years
old. Martinez is wanted for Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Robbery, and
Aggravated Sexual Assault, based on the following.

On Friday, November 02, 2001, at approximately 11:40pm, Frisco Police
Officers responded to the intersection of Preston Rd. and Eldorado Parkway
in reference to a possible hijacking at the location.

Upon police arrival, an officer contacted the victim, who stated that two
male subjects had kidnapped her, sexually assaulted her, and stole her
vehicle. She described her vehicle as a black 2000 Ford Explorer and gave
police the license plate number. Other officers were given the vehicle
description. The victim further stated that she had been abducted by the
two men at gunpoint from the alley behind her residence and driven to a
secluded area where both males sexually assaulted her and bound her with
tape. The men then left her after repeatedly threatening to kill her and
demanding information about the victims family.

At approximately 11:50pm, a Frisco Police Officer spotted the victims
vehicle and attempted to stop the vehicle. The suspects initially fled
before bailing out of the vehicle on foot. One of the suspects was
captured nearby and he was identified as, Nick Jones, (W/M 04-27-84).
Jones identified the second suspect as, Mario Alberto Martinez, (W/M
07-11-83).

Nick Jones has since been prosecuted and is serving prison time for this
offense. Mario Martinez is still at large and Frisco Police are seeking
the public's assistance in capturing this dangerous fugitive. Please
