FRISCO POLICE PREPARE TO FILE CRIMINAL CHARGES

(April 7, 2008) The Frisco Police Department expects to file criminal
charges of Attempted Capital Murder and Aggravated Sexual Assault against
Stanley Vernell Ledbetter Jr., a black male, date of birth 01-27-78, 30,
of Plano, Texas. Ledbetter was arrested last week by Plano Police on a
Dallas Police Department Warrant. He is a suspect in the April 2007 home
invasion of a Frisco resident where she was sexually assaulted, stabbed
and left for dead.

Since May 2005, the Dallas metroplex has been experiencing violent home
invasions that appear to have been committed by the same individual. A
North Texas Law Enforcement Task Force was formed with detectives from the
Dallas, Richardson, Irving, Garland, Plano, Coppell, and Frisco Police
Departments, as well as state and federal agencies. Detectives have spent
countless hours working on these cases in an attempt to bring this violent
individual to justice. Schepps Dairy has offered a $10,000.00 reward for
information leading to the arrest and conviction of this individual.

Frisco Police Detectives are waiting on DNA confirmation to return from
the lab before filing formal charges. The investigation into this offense
is continuing.
