‘Frisco Square’ Streets to Close Saturday Morning, March 14 for St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Paddy Dash

¡¥FRISCO SQUARE¡¦ STREETS TO CLOSE SATURDAY MORNING, MARCH 14 FOR ST.
PATRICK¡¦S DAY PARADE, PADDY DASH
(March 11, 2009) Several streets within Frisco Square will be closed
Saturday morning, March 14, between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. for a St.
Patrick¡¦s Day Parade and Paddy Dash.
"h Coleman Boulevard will be closed south of the first parking lot
entrance;
"h Frisco Square Boulevard will be closed between Dallas Parkway and
Frisco Street;
"h Page Street will be closed between John W. Elliot Drive and the
George A. Purefoy Municipal Center;
"h Library Street will be closed between Frisco Square Boulevard and
Cotton Gin
Road
During this closure, there will be no vehicular access to the front of
City Hall or the Library, and no vehicular access to the Frisco Square
parking lot, east of Coleman Boulevard. Race participants and visitors
must park in the parking lot behind the Frisco Square businesses on the
west side of
Coleman Boulevard. This parking lot will only be accessible from Main

The staging area for the parade will be in the parking lot behind Frisco
Square businesses on the east side of Coleman Boulevard. Only vehicles
related to the parade will be allowed into this parking lot between 6 a.m.
and 8 a.m. Parade vehicles should turn south onto Coleman Boulevard to be

Residents who live on Coleman Boulevard should use Main Street to access
the west Frisco Square parking lot. No regular traffic will be allowed
in -- or out of the east Frisco Square parking lot between 6 a.m. and 10
a.m.
Patrons of the Senior Center @ Frisco Square -- and residents who live on
Library Street -- should use John W. Elliot Drive to approach the area
from the north or Cotton Gin Road and Short Street to approach the area
from the south.
Library staff and patrons who arrive before 10 a.m. can park in the
parking lot behind the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center, which will only
be accessible by taking Page Street from Dallas Parkway. Other parking
areas will be accessible starting at 10 a.m.
