North Dallas Tollway On Schedule
They are making great progress on the extension of the Dallas Tollway from Hwy 121 through Frisco to Hwy 380. Here's what the North Texas Tollway Authority has to say,
"Everything is currently on schedule for an additional 9.6 miles of road to be open for driving at the north end of the Dallas North Tollway. Phase 3 of the Tollway extension runs from SH 121 to US 380 north of Frisco and is expected to open in September 2007. The three lanes in each direction will provide a vital route to downtown Dallas for motorists coming from Frisco and the fast-growing cities to its north.
Roadway construction is more than 70 percent complete, major utility relocations are also complete, and southbound frontage road pavement is substantially complete north of Eldorado Parkway to US 380."
