'TELEPHONE’ FORMAT FEATURED AGAIN AT TONIGHT'S TOWN HALL MEETING
(June 13, 2011) Frisco residents are invited to call in – or come by for
tonight's Town Hall Meeting, June 13. Once again, the City of Frisco
meeting will feature a telephone format, allowing residents to join the
meeting from the convenience of their homes.
The meeting will be held in the City Hall council chambers of the George
A. Purefoy Municipal Center,
6101 Frisco Square Blvd. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. During the first
half hour, city staff will give presentations on economic development, as
well as road construction and improvements.
Beginning at approximately 7:30 p.m., the ‘telephone’ format of the Town
Hall meeting will begin. Frisco residents may dial 888 – 886 – 6603, ext.
16815# to join the Town Hall meeting from anywhere. Frisco’s registered
voters will also receive a phone call Monday night, inviting them to join
the meeting.
During the ‘telephone format’, Mayor Maso and city staff will update
residents on public safety and issues related to the Exide Technologies,
Inc. battery recycling plant. Residents will have the opportunity to ask
questions in person or by phone. The ‘Q & A’ portion of the meeting will
follow all staff presentations.
A limited number of Frisco ‘vehicle sun shades’ will be distributed to
residents who attend the meeting in person.
Town Hall meetings last two hours and are typically held three times each
year.
