SAM RAYBURN TOLLWAY/DALLAS NORTH TOLLWAY CLOSURES FOR THE REST OF JANUARY

Southbound Dallas Parkway closed each night; various ramps closed during
the day

(January 20, 2012) As part of the final work on the new Dallas North
Tollway (DNT)/Sam Rayburn Tollway (SRT) interchange, the NTTA has
announced the following nighttime and daytime road closures.

The southbound Dallas Parkway frontage road will be closed between Gaylord
Parkway and the northeast-bound SH 121 frontage road each night throughout
the rest of January. The frontage road will close at 9:00 p.m. each night
and will reopen by 5:00 a.m. the following morning.

During each closure, all southbound traffic on Dallas Parkway will be
directed to turn left onto Gaylord Parkway and to then use Parkwood
Boulevard as a detour to the SH 121 frontage roads. Southbound traffic on
the DNT wishing to exit to the SH 121 frontage road should exit earlier
(at the Gaylord Parkway exit) and follow the detour described above. In
addition, residents of Stonebriar Creek Estates will need to use the
entrance to their neighborhood on Legacy Drive.

Various entrance and exit ramps will be closured during the day on the
dates listed below. Each ramp will close at 9:00 a.m. and will reopen by
3:30 p.m. that afternoon.

Ramp closures on Friday, January 20
- Southbound DNT entrance ramp south of SH 121

Ramp closures on Saturday, January 21
- Southbound DNT entrance ramp south of SH 121
- Southwest-bound SRT exit ramp to Legacy Drive

Ramp closures on Sunday, January 22
- Northeast-bound SRT entrance ramp east of Legacy Drive

Ramp closures on Tuesday, January 24
- Southbound DNT entrance ramp south of Gaylord Parkway

Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction zone and to choose
an alternate route in advance.
