LAST WEEKEND TO DISCOVER FRISCO IS A TREASURE HUT FOR FUN; GRAND PRIZE
DRAWING SUNDAY AFTERNOON, AUGUST 29, AT DR PEPPER ARENA
(August 27, 2010) Hunt for fun and discover ‘Frisco IS a Treasure!’ But
you have to hurry! The ‘hunt’ ends this Sunday, August 29 at 2 p.m.
Qualified entries are eligible for a grand prize drawing to win a treasure
chest filled with prizes! To qualify to win, your map must have stamps
from 8 of 12 Frisco locations. Once you collect eight stamps, drop your
completed map (entry form) into any ‘X Marks the Spot’ boxes also at the
map locations.
Not all 12 of the treasure hunt locations are open this weekend. You can
still get your map stamped and drop off your completed map at the
following locations:
Entries accepted through Saturday, August 28:
Dr Pepper Ballpark, home of the Frisco RoughRiders (through 7th inning of
Aug. 28 game)
Entries accepted until 2 p.m. Sunday, August 29:
Dr Pepper Arena, home of Texas Tornado, Texas Legends, headquarters for
Dallas Stars
Frisco Athletic Center
Frisco Heritage Museum
FieldhouseUSA
AM 620 Radio Disney will be at the Dr Pepper Arena, from 2 – 4 p.m. this
Sunday, August 29 for the Grand Prize Drawing. The arena faces Gaylord
Parkway -- between Dallas Parkway and Parkwood Drive. Play games, win
prizes and stick around to find out who wins the ‘Frisco Family Fun
Treasure Chest,’ valued at more than $1,500.
Everyone who completes an entry form will receive a coupon for Sci Tech
Discover Center, located inside the new Frisco Discovery Center, scheduled
to open October 2, 2010. No purchase is required to play!
