City-Wide Water Use:
The average daily water usage per person (GPCD) in Frisco last week was
116 GPCD. GPCD is defined as the total number of gallons used by the city
divided by the population.

Waterwise Tips:
Is your pool ready for winter?
Making sure that your pool is running smoothly this winter can save you
money on possible costly repairs this spring. This is the perfect time of
the year to check for equipment problems, make sure that your pool’s
freeze protector is properly working, and perform a regular filter clean
and other seasonal maintenance.

Why not work in the yard this weekend?
Spreading mulch in flower beds and around trees not only conserves water
by reducing the amount of moisture that can evaporate, but can also save
you time in the future when you don’t have to pull unwanted weeds. It is
recommended that a layer between 2 to 4 inched is spread evenly over the
area, and supplies can be purchases at local home improvement stores or
nurseries.
